After the mill is transported to the installation site from the manufacturer or storage place, all parts shall be cleaned before installation because they will be in contact with dust and dirt in the course of production or storage, and meanwhile, it shall confirm the integrity of parts and completeness of required tool, specifically including the following aspects:
1. Cleaning of parts of the mill. When the parts of the mill are transported to the installation site, it shall firstly remove the shield, dust, dirt, anti-rust oil and other impurities on the processing surface of the parts, and inspect the model and integrity of the parts upon the installation drawing, so as to ensure no omission of the parts and integrity of the parts.
2. Preparation of dry oil and thin oil. In the process of installing the mill, the thin oil shall be usually used on the moving surface of the parts and the dry oil shall be fixed on the fixed surface of the parts, so as to ensure the connection of the parts and keep the contact components lubricated, therefore, the dry oil and thin oil shall be prepared before the installation.
3. Preparation of the required tool. Due to the differences in the model and variety of the mill, the tools used during the installation are also different. Therefore, the required tool shall be prepared according to the type of the mill and installation instructions before the installation, such as level gauge, electronic theodolite and steel rule, so as to prevent the stop of installation work due to the incomplete tool.
