Rod Mill is widely used for milling varies kind of ores or rocks in metal or non-metal mining and building material industry.

The main body of the rod mill is a low speed rotating barrel horizontally fitted on two large bearings. The motor drives the barrel of the rod mill rotating by means of reducer and gears. There are grinding medium (steel rods) in the barrel. The steel rods are raised up by centrifugal and friction force, then fall down by their own gravity. The feeded materials are crushed by the falling impacting of the steel rods.
